What we collect

When you send a booking request, we collect the name, phone number, town, service selection and any notes you type into the form. That is the information we need to call you back about the job.

When you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address and, if you give it, your name.

When you simply browse, our hosting and security provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested. This is normal server logging used to keep the site running and to block abuse.

Cookies

This site sets a small number of cookies and similar browser storage. Two of them are set by us and store only your own preferences: whether you chose light or dark mode, and whether you have dismissed the cookie notice. Neither identifies you and neither is shared. Our hosting and security provider also sets cookies necessary to protect the site from automated abuse. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

What we do with it

We use booking details to contact you about your enquiry and to keep a record of work we have quoted or carried out. We use newsletter addresses only to send the newsletter you asked for.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with other companies for their marketing. We do not pass your details to third parties except where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Booking enquiries are kept while they are relevant to work we have done or quoted, and are deleted when they are not. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from the link at the bottom of any email we send.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (630) 937-3548 or write to the address above and we will deal with it.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page, and the date at the bottom of the page will change with it.
